Hello Jill!!! I am glad I popped in here today....we do need to get back to this board on a daily basis. Miss talking with everyone.
Not much going on with me....Mike is loving his job as a fire fighter....Max is in 5th grade and not much change with school...he still hates it. HA! I am still working in the insurance office and hate it....I am thinking about heading back to school. I have been looking into Occupational Therapist. But who knows....I may just keep plucking away at the insurance business. On my last year of being Cubmaster with the Cub Scouts!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did I tell you girls I don't enjoy it? HA! Hope everyone is doing well and I need updates on everyone, especially Kim....I don't get to keep up with her like I do the rest of you on FB. Love you girls and miss you all terribly. I still think we all need to meet sometime. Keep it in the back of your minds and toss it around. Chow!!

Hi girls, well I am a grandma now, the baby's picture is on facebook
Steve is getting married next Saturday, that year went fast. I am good, moved upstairs to my son's apt, he took mine downstairs. Its easier its 3 rooms, thats enough for me. How I leave it is how I find it lol My friend Pat moved to Long Island, which is about an hour away from me. Went out there with my friend Kris over Labor Day weekend.

HI ladies. Not much been going on here. Just harvesting and planting on my Farms... hehe. Aleigha turns 3 Wednesday... and Blazik is going to be in the quiz
bowl!! I'm proud of him. I don't think he realizes how many ppl are.
Hope everyone has been doing good.

Cheryl, sorry to hear Max is still not into school! Liz is doing better this year. The teacher makes all the differance! Glad Mike is loving his new job! Sorry your job is still sucking! Rose, I can't believe its that time for the wedding already...crazy how the year flew by. How is your little grandson? Shawna, I read on FB about Aleigha turning three, doesn't seem possible! Rose, so sorry Pat moved. I heard you talk of her often. Atleast it's not so far that you can"t get to see her sometimes.
I've been crazy busy. We have had major changes. Life has just been crazy around here, too bad we all didn't still "have each other" during that time. Glad to hear from everyone now though. |

Hi Christy! How are the kids doing? I miss hearing from you all so much...fill me in!
As for me...I have been busy as well. I'm starting to finally get things back to normal after a busy summer and fall. Elizabeth started basketball this year. We finished up the season on Sat. The girls played really hard but just couldn't pull out any wins. They all had fun, and thats all that counts. Boys BB will be starting up soon. Aaron doesn't know if he's playing yet. Drew loves golf so he will be going out for that in the spring. He is struggling with school again this year. He is able to get his license, but we aren't going to let him til grades improve. He has also recently taken up bow hunting. He loves it! So thats something all 3 of my guys love doing together. The garden was a success! I really went after the veggies and froze EVERYTHING. My freezers are completely full of squash, zucchini, corn, grean beans, pumpkin & green peppers. Sadly we ate the peas so we didn't get any to freeze lol We also planted our first tomatoe plant. I don't know why because we don't like them lol so I decided to give canning a try and make some salsa. I am now hooked on canning! I have canned jam,salsa and pickles. I love the feeling I get when I look in my freezer and in my pantry, nothing like knowing where my food came from! The pie pumpkins are awesome! I still have 2 pails to cook and freeze, but I am in no hurry since I have tons and tons of it in the freezer now. I have made a pie, bread and now today I made a pumpkin roll from it. I am really looking forward to next years garden! I keep wanting to share my scrap room with you all but I can never seem to get it cleaned up lol I promise to get those pics taken soon even if the room is a mess! lol You have no idea how happy you have all made me by getting this place up and running again! I know someone said there are ads on the board now that we aren't gold anymore. So I will check into all that. Hopefully we are all back for good! Now we just need Reya!! Jill, sounds like you have been one busy little bee!!! I would love to have a garden but I am afraid I would never have time to get out there and take care of it. You can plant all the tomatoe plants you want and just ship the tomatoes to me. I love them!!! Rose, your grandson is adorable. Sorry Pat moved away from you, how dare she! HA! Wow I can't believe the wedding is a week away!!! Enjoy and have fun!!! I have found several girls here in town that love to scrap and so we are not trying to get together once a month for a two day scrap fest. We call it "Scrap til you Crap"! LOL! The next one is scheduled for November 13th and 14th. Shawna I can't believe she will be 3 already! Wow that has gone fast! Hope everything is going great with you. How is the job going? Any new lay-offs?

The agrden is alot of work Cheryl, if I wasn't home there would be no way I could do it all. Or at least one that big. (we have 2 big gardens) Wish I could ship ya some! We sure like the salsa

Wow, sounds like everyone has been busy! Its nice to hear from everyone again.
LMAO about Scrap Till You Crap. thats neat. The job is going good. We are only on 4 days.. but the department I am in, assembly, has been working a lot of Fridays.. sometimes 10 or 12hrs, and once in a while, maybe a Saturday. I'm lucky enough not to get the Saturdays. lol. I don't think we'll officially be on 5 days till after the first of the year. The extra day is nice, the 32hr checks, not so. lol |
